Enda Kenny: Five Special Advisers are employed by my Department, four of whom are Special Advisers to me while one is a Special Adviser to the Government Chief Whip. The total cost of the salaries paid to the Special Advisers employed by my Department is €586,011.

Enda Kenny: Deputy Cowen will be aware that the Revenue Commissioners were asked to set out the structure and mechanics of how a property tax might operate. I expect that the Thornhill report will be published once the Government has signed off on the details of the property tax. The Minister for Finance will set out that schedule.
