Brian Stanley: That is a question that is often asked in relation to the single transferable vote and I have heard it explained a few times. If one has two candidates, one of whom has been eliminated and whose transfers are being distributed, what happens at that point? I have never been able to wrap my head around it. What bundle of votes is picked?
