Róisín Shortall: I have requested an update from the HSE on the information requested by the Deputy. I will forward this data to the Deputy as soon as possible. Nevertheless, the most recent information available to me is that the HSE currently processes and issues approximately 15,000 medical cards each week and that over 85% of complete applications are processed within 15 working days.
