Michael Healy-Rae: Yes, there is. It is the planning and development (No. 1) Bill, whose purpose is to support actions in the construction industry. If our construction industry is to flourish, one-off buildings and extensions should be exempt from these building regulations because they impose a very large additional cost on these builds.
