Róisín Shortall: I have again asked the Health Service Executive for a report on the issue raised by the Deputy. I will revert to the Deputy on the matter as soon as possible. I have held detailed discussions with the HSE regarding the ongoing back-log in medical card appeals. The HSE is moving additional staff to this area to help address the unsatisfactory waiting times.
