Consultations with Pobal, which is managing the fund on behalf of the Department, were unfortunately delayed by the very extensive commitments Pobal had regarding the Ukrainian situation. That money will be spent and that funding round is proceeding; it is just a timing issue.

Stephen Donnelly: It entails various adaptations the hospitals had to make for Covid. The Deputy will be aware that a lot of hospitals had two separate areas in their emergency departments, for example, or had to hire extra staff or had to have new isolation areas.
