Brendan Smith: Funding of €26.5m originally provided to Bord Bia in 2007 was supplemented by €1.2m during that year to implement the Bord's market development and promotional strategy with particular reference to initiatives in Asia. This followed a 20% increase in 2006. Funding of €27.5 million was provided in 2008 and a grant-in-aid of €25.3m has been included in the 2009 Estimates.
