Catherine Connolly: I did not refer to the President of the High Court. I referred to the date of the publication of the report. In terms of the Criminal Justice (Legal Aid) Act, I did not catch the name of the chief executive of the Legal Aid Board.

Catherine Connolly: Let me ask a different question. From Mr. Daid's experience and the resources of his organisation, has the Legal Aid Board an opportunity to conduct research to discover the gaps and problems that need to be addressed? Has the board enough resources to do such work?

Catherine Connolly: Something that came up recently was the Civil Legal Aid Act 1995, which has a provision to give help to victims of sexual assault and violence in limited situations.
