Jerry Buttimer: My final question is directed at Dr. Ryan and Ms Irwin-Gowran and relates to second parent adoption. Reference was made to this not being included in the general scheme of the Bill. How might it work for families? Also, in regard to Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames's question about consent, does Dr. Ryan have a view on it?
