Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine: Recycling Farm Plastics: Discussion (19 Apr 2023)

Victor Boyhan: No, we could see it geophysically online. We do not need to be getting our boots on and going around. We do not need junkets or trips to see this. We travel enough around the country and we can have a look ourselves. If Mr. Moloney could provide a list of those centres, it would be very helpful.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine: Recycling Farm Plastics: Discussion (19 Apr 2023)

Victor Boyhan: I am sure Mr. Moloney spoke about corporate governance. In summary and wrapping up, it appears that all is well in his organisation. It appears that all is well, and the Department has no issue. That is reassuring, at face value, after my questions. I am going away a lot happier, but again, until someone rings one of us up tomorrow and says something different, we have to take it that...

Seanad: An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business (18 Apr 2023)

Victor Boyhan: Tomorrow an important piece of legislation will be put before the House, which is the redress scheme. I will not go into it now because it is for debate tomorrow. Many Members have received a lot of correspondence. The parties have received a lot of correspondence. There will be quite a few people listening in to this debate tomorrow externally and internally. When the Taoiseach came to...

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: Housing for All: Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (18 Apr 2023)

Victor Boyhan: I thank the Chair, and I want to thank Ms Timmons, Mr. Ó Coigligh, Ms Stapleton and their team for being here today and for laying out what they have achieved and done. However, we still have a major issue; we have a housing crisis. We have a Government now past its mid-term in office. There is huge expectation, understandably and rightly, from people who cannot either afford or...
