- Order of Business (8 Jul 2009)
Aengus Ó Snodaigh: I am also opposed to the guillotine being introduced on this Bill. There are 33 amendments in front of us but only an hour to discuss them. - Order of Business (8 Jul 2009)
Aengus Ó Snodaigh: I also oppose the guillotine on No. 4, first on the basis that I do not believe that guillotines are required but the main reason is that this issue, namely, the Twenty-Eighth Amendment of the Constitution (Treaty of Lisbon) Bill, is an affront to the people's vote last year and it should not even have reached this stage. This is a bizarre wording.

- Defamation Bill 2006 [Seanad]: Report and Final Stages (8 Jul 2009)
Aengus Ó Snodaigh: The Minister may say the amendment is superfluous. However, it is required to allow for the other amendments grouped with it.
