Pauline Tully: The supports are there for people to employ disabled people but the same supports do not seem to exist to employ oneself, such as the wage subsidy scheme or the reasonable accommodations fund.

Pauline Tully: The point has been made here by disabled people that self-employment would suit many of them because it allows them the flexibility to work around. With Mr. McCann's capability, he does not have to work to what an employer wants but then he is coming up against different barriers. Professor Cooney said that there are over 50,000 disabled self-employed people. Is that correct?
