Keira Keogh: One issue I see coming up is that, even for those who manage to get a device, we do not have a mechanism whereby they automatically get a new device if it is broken or if the battery dies. It is a very serious issue. In some schools, the noises of the AAC devices are disturbing other children but those devices are these children's voices.
