Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform: Overview of the Banking Sector in Ireland (Resumed): Ulster Bank (29 Apr 2015)

Michael Creed: I thank Mr. Brown and his colleagues for their presentation. I have a number of questions primarily on the standard variable rate. First, in response to question No. 4 Mr. Brown said that a permanent interest rate reduction has been invoked in zero cases. That strikes me as strange. Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform: Overview of the Banking Sector in Ireland (Resumed): Bank of Ireland (29 Apr 2015)

Michael Creed: The bank's UK operation is in the mortgage business as well.
