Charles Flanagan: Very briefly in response to Deputy Brophy, there are a number of precedents. In 1953, the former Attorney General, Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh, was appointed to the Supreme Court. In 1977, the former Attorney General, Declan Costello, was appointed to the High Court.
