At no stage has the NAS or myself outlined that this system is the answer to all our needs in relation to rapid access to patients etc, however it is a mechanism that will assist and fill the void that exists at the moment."

It is my understanding that the Government awarded the contract for the postcode to Capita Ireland in 2013 and it is due to the launched in July. However, a transcript of this meeting will be forwarded to the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
