Seán Fleming: I and the committee took the view it is a matter of good corporate governance. If there was never a statutory date, just because there is no statutory obligation to do something is not a reason for not doing it. Good corporate governance should dictate that the accounts would be submitted in a timely manner. That is all we are trying to achieve here. There might not be a statutory backup...
