Simon Harris: The removal of the requirement for work to be of a "rehabilitative nature" in respect of the assessment of persons with a disability for a medical card was one of the key recommendations of the Make Work Pay for Persons with Disabilities Report. The HSE implemented this recommendation in May 2017.
