For example, I speak on behalf of a woman who is looking after her brother. Her parents are dead and she has no other brothers or sisters....

If a medical card patient comes to a pharmacy with a prescription for a drug that costs more than the reference drug, and cannot afford to pay the extra cost, does he or she need to go back to the GP to get another prescription?
