Finian McGrath: I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the Second Stage debate on the Housing (Amendment) Bill 2013. This is another important debate in the current economic climate and the context of the huge housing shortage. There are thousands of people on waiting lists for local authority homes and many residents are in mortgage distress, some of whom face repossession and other horrific problems....
