Pat O'Neill: I commend the Minister on the revised amendment. He has taken on board the concerns expressed by farming organisations and farmers. This is an animal welfare Bill which seeks to protect the welfare of animals and ensure they do not suffer. The revised amendment has removed the ambiguity which previously existed in the Bill.
