Mary White: Last year, the Minister for Education and Skills had the courage to reverse the DEIS cuts when thousands of children protested outside Leinster House with their teachers. Unfortunately, many carers are not able to hold such a protest. The Minister's future leadership of the Labour Party will be carved in stone if she has the courage to reverse the carer's respite grant.
