Ciarán Lynch: By my calculations, then, both directors have been paid in excess of half a million euro since their appointments in 2009. Is that correct?

Ciarán Lynch: I calculate your fees to be in excess of a quarter of a million euro each, which means the total for both directors since 2009 is in excess of half a million euro.

Ciarán Lynch: I understand the figures include fees and expenses. Is there anything else the witnesses are not telling us this morning? The sums I referred to include both fees and expenses. Is that correct?

Ciarán Lynch: Okay. There may be additional sums involved but Mr. Considine cannot account for them this morning. Basically, both directors can account for more than half a million euro but there may be other moneys which cannot be accounted for.

Since you were appointed in 2009, have you, on any occasion, in your capacity as a public interest director, reported your activities to any Minister for Finance or any specific structure within the Department of Finance or the Central Bank?
