Louise O'Reilly: I would not favour individual Deputies meeting with groups, because they would put themselves in a position whereby they represent those groups, or their views, back to the committee. It is access by another name. The Chairman pointed out a very practical way to approach it by talking to the overarching representative groups. This is a personal opinion, but I do not think it is productive...

Louise O'Reilly: A template would work quite well and would keep things consistent so that one would not have a submission of 80 pages from one group and two pages from another. I think the terms of reference are fairly explicit. We will not be stepping outside the terms of reference, so the template can be moulded and guided by them. I think that makes good practical sense.
