Marie Sherlock: I firmly believe there is potential in this Bill to allow for cohorts of workers who cannot access work at the moment, such as lone parents and disabled people, to enter the workforce. Therefore that 26-week waiting period needs to go and we have been working with the Disability Federation of Ireland, SPARK and others to put an amendment to that provision in the Bill.
