- Leaders' Questions (10 May 2017)
Michael Healy-Rae: I cannot agree with the Taoiseach about Operation Thor because I believe it has sent these criminals underground and into rural areas. A couple of weeks ago, 64 people were arrested in one day in Carlow and Kilkenny, but it was all in urban areas. We must be very careful about what we are doing here and how we are tackling the problem. I thank the Taoiseach for his comments but I want...
- Leaders' Questions (10 May 2017)
Michael Healy-Rae: Last week, I raised the rise in crime rates in County Kerry in the form of a Topical Issue debate. During that debate, I also touched on the fact that elderly people are having their homes invaded and are being attacked. Very sadly, since then a man aged 94 years and his wife, who is 87, had their home invaded last Sunday. Two men attacked him. They broke his walking stick over his head....

- Proposed Sale of AIB Shares: Motion [Private Members] (9 May 2017)
Michael Healy-Rae: It is galling to hear what I have heard tonight. When I think of AIB, the first thing I think of is who the important people are. They are those who have been good, loyal, true, respectable customers of AIB over the years. I am talking about small business people, small farmers and young couples who, starting out in life, took out a mortgage and who were dutiful, honest and straight....
- Order of Business (9 May 2017)
Michael Healy-Rae: Today, 3,099 farmers are waiting to be paid their GLAS payments. This has gone on for far too long. Farmers are being punished for IT failures within the Department, which is simply not fair. I urge the Taoiseach and the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to put farmers out of their financial misery and finally pay them their hard-earned money. There are 187 farmers in Kerry...
