Catherine Byrne: The HSE maintains the Central Treatment List, which is a register of all clients in receipt of opioid substitution treatment for problem opiate use in Ireland. As at 31 October 2017, the latest month for which figures are available, 9,674 individuals were in receipt of opioid substitution treatment outside of the prison setting.
