James Lawless: There have been proposals for peace in Ukraine, some of which are barely worth considering. There was what I might describe as a Russian-friendly proposal mooted at one stage, including, I think, by some Members of this House, that would allow Russia to retain jurisdiction over the likes of Crimea, etc., which does not even bear considering. It is more acquiescence and surrender than peace....
