Mary Coughlan: The current discounted buy out scheme for Land Purchase Annuities is governed by the Land Purchase Annuities Redemption Scheme Regulations 2005 (SI No 830 of 2005). These regulations provide that the scheme commences on 1 January 2006 and terminates on 30 June 2006. I have no plans to extend the closing date.
