I put this to HIQA because in its opening statement it mentioned, in particular, the challenges of the private sector. Was there a more acute issue in the private sector than in the public sector or was it balanced?

Pearse Doherty: HIQA has in the past given the Department of Health and the HSE a list of centres that would have been in breach of regulations, training, etc., in different HIQA inspections. Has HIQA monitored whether there has been an increased number of deaths in those centres that it listed or has it left it to the Department?

Pearse Doherty: Is HIQA aware of any member of staff who was not allowed to isolate having been in contact with somebody who was Covid-19 positive at the early stages or of staff members who were being asked to return to work, despite the fact they may have been symptomatic?
