Fidelma Healy Eames: I accept that completely and have no difficulty with that. However, we must be very careful when talking about who cannot participate at committee meetings. There are many committees which do not have enough participants. Let us have a little bit of realism around this.

Fidelma Healy Eames: I do not wish to be the proposer but would make the suggestion that it would be wise, in the interests of education, our children and of teachers who wish to move this issue on, to re-engage. The blockages can be addressed and a great deal of new information has been put on the record today that gives hope.
