Finian McGrath: That is not a huge issue. I was very surprised to hear about the number of prisoners, some 1,054, in prisons abroad. It is a very high figure for a small country. Why did the witnesses say this figure could be even higher?

Finian McGrath: The Irish Council for Prisoners Overseas was involved in the Birmingham Six and Guildford Four cases many years ago. Of the 1,054 prisoners, does the council have concerns or suspicions about blatant miscarriage of justice in England, Scotland or South America?
