As part of its terms of reference, the committee will be able to define the work and business of the institutions and banks. There are issues surrounding that in which the committee will have an interest.

Enda Kenny: A number of important issues have been raised about this and a number of amendments are being worked on. The Bill is awaiting Committee Stage here. Those amendments arising from comments that have been made are being drafted. I hope it will not be too long before it comes back on Committee Stage.
