Pat O'Neill: When I did the green certificate, it was a 30-hour course provided by ACOT. That was it. It is now a two-year course.

My son, who spent four years studying engineering at the University of Limerick, has spent the last two years in Kildalton doing the green certificate. I think they need to teach a lot of reality there. While I accept they are young and enthusiastic about their ideas, many of their ideas are not practical.
