Timmy Dooley: People who have had convictions will find it hard to get employment in other sectors. If a conviction is on their CV it does not help them in getting a regular job. A licence helps people who are trying to become self-employed and carve out a life for themselves and their families without having to resort to crime again. We should be very careful about how we view people with criminal records.
