Pat O'Neill: I thank Dr. Cullen for her presentation. In today’s society, we can see the problems with obesity that future generations will face. Conveying the message is important. Dr. Cullen mentioned that the foundation incorporates 14 industry members from which it receives €2 million in funding. From where does the rest of the funding come?

Pat O'Neill: That was where I was going with my next question. Over seven years, 14 companies in the industry have provided €2 million. I am disappointed that more names are not on that list. When funding is lacking, it is difficult to get the message out. This committee has an onus. The majority of horse breeding enterprises here are people with a couple of acres of land and a few mares. Some people keep ponies for use by their children and farmers often breed them for point to points. We all know how popular they are....
