Brian Stanley: I will let Deputy Verona Murphy in a second time. The Deputy asked about the effects on the Exchequer. Would it be helpful to frame that question in the following way? Let us say, for example, there was a 10% or 15% reduction in the excise take on a given fuel, what would that mean in terms of loss to the Exchequer? Would that be a helpful way to frame that question?

In terms of the effects on price, the big concerns relate to the fact that the cost of diesel, which always cost 7% or 8% less than petrol, has now exceeded the cost of petrol.
