Alan Kelly: No. These are the statistics showing the pressure that the mid-west is under compared with other areas.

Alan Kelly: The profile of over 65 year olds in the area is much greater. The Minister is right about discharges, but how and to where would people be discharged? Intermediate vehicles and ambulances are not present to do the job. Of course Ennis and Nenagh hospitals have bed capacity, but they do not have the necessary transport capacity. I have been raising this issue for a considerable time....
