- Committee on Infrastructure and National Development Plan Delivery: Planning, Approving and Delivering Transport Infrastructure Projects: Discussion (11 Jun 2025)
George Lawlor: I believe Mr. Walsh and Ms Fitzpatrick were going to answer the question about the funding for the Oilgate to Rosslare project. I ask them to shed some light on that. George Lawlor: We have an excellent active travel team in Wexford. Its members informed me that under the policy, they were being told it was not to be outside urban areas. I am not sure if that was accidental or intended to drive their particular projects.
- Housing: Statements (10 Jun 2025)
George Lawlor: The current housing crisis in this country can only be described as a catastrophic failure of leadership and policy, leaving countless families in despair and homelessness while developers and landlords profit from the misery. The Government's inaction and ineffective measures have turned the dream of so many of getting a social house or owning a home into a cruel joke. In my county of...

George Lawlor: I welcome the Bill and I will outline just two concerns I have. There is a range of laws that can come into play when an employer closes down. Of course, there...
