Kieran O'Donnell: It is too late. There is urgency and we want to work proactively with all Departments to get a pilot programme up and running, with the ultimate objective of getting the digital green certificate functioning at a European level that is safe from a public health perspective and provides public safety for all passengers and the Irish public as well.

Kieran O'Donnell: The committee will follow up on the specific proposal made by Senator Buttimer but in order to do so we need details of exactly which merchant service providers are causing an issue. It may be the case that some of them are operating in a very fair way. There is no doubt that it is not a homogenous group. Is the Senator happy for us to conclude on that point?
