David Norris: To be helpful to the Cathaoirleach in his ruling that Senator O'Brien and I moved away from the amendment, it is impossible to move away from a black hole or a brown dwarf, which is what this Bill is. They lack any kind of spatial dimension.

David Norris: I thank the Cathaoirleach for his indulgence. My heart goes out to him, my prayers are with him and I feel deeply sorry for him and the embarrassing position he has been put in by what was once his Government. I hope he has severed all contact like decent people would.

David Norris: I will go and find him in the restaurant where he has plenty of time to launch a book. They intend to get rid of the lighting and maintenance in the Chamber. Are they going to sell it?
