The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Deputy Hogan, published the national climate change policy last week.

Ivana Bacik: I want the Cabinet committee on climate change to be convened as soon as possible to announce a Government timeline for the legislative process in parallel with the consultation that was announced by the Minister, Deputy Hogan. It remains a commitment of the legislative programme that climate change legislation will be published in 2012.
