Michael Ring: I tabled a number of questions to the Department of Health and Children about the over-70s medical card. The office will not answer the telephone, elderly people are worried, the office dealing with the medical card was decentralised to Dublin and nobody can get an answer. Elderly people cannot get their medical cards renewed.
