How then does he explain why Senator Higgins disagrees that their spirit has been taken on board? Paul Murphy: I will add a point on law enforcement information being shared. As far as I know, that matter is covered in the Data Protection Act 2018 which transposed the law enforcement directive. That Act deals with the area and explains the circumstances in which law enforcement information can be shared with other necessary bodies. Nothing that is being proposed would undo it.
