Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality: Recognition of Traveller Ethnicity: Discussion (12 Jun 2013)

David Stanton: There is a general perception in some areas that "Travellers equal trouble" and that if a Traveller family moves next door, they will be the neighbours from hell. David Stanton: Dr. McVeigh spoke earlier about positive discrimination in education, for instance, as one of the areas where leadership could be developed.
