Seán Fleming: I understand that. Garda vetting is required. To return to an earlier point, the Department leaves it until very late in the year to close the scheme to applications. I know that is done to give people as much time to apply as possible but it causes terrible problems in a short six to eight week period. Why does the Department leave it so late? Why does it not move the closing date back...
