Timmy Dooley: Previously, Ms Hynes served as chair of the board of Shannon Airport. She will know from Mr. Shane Ross's book that he relayed to her his thanks for her service there but, in doing so, said at the end of her term that he would not reappoint her. In his book he says that, within minutes of telling her this, he received a call from the then Taoiseach pretty much asking him to reappoint her....
