Denis O'Donovan: The Minister has responded in detail and it is unlikely that he will change his mind, no matter how long we argue the point. Perhaps the matter should be put to a vote. I will allow Senator Rónán Mullen to conclude as I am anxious not to stymie the debate. I will then ask Senator Jim Walsh whether he wants to put the amendment to a vote.
