Éamon Ó Cuív: I thank the Minister for that. There were very fruitful meetings and a great deal of progress was made in the wider sphere to reassure those who use waterways. Waterways will not be closed unnecessarily and good procedures will be put in place in order that people are forewarned where it is at all possible unless there is an emergency situation.
