Matt Carthy: In regard to orthopaedics, the waiting list figures are 9,879 for 2019, 10,282 for 2020 and 9,698 for 2021. It would appear the figures are stable. They are outlandish but stable. Why is it that in regard to orthopaedics we are in a position to manage numbers whereas in almost every other area the numbers increased exponentially?
